Use your creativity, however wild or unusual, to create interesting displays that communicate what you wish, with items from nature. We will enjoy community around the table and put our creative skills to good, fun use. Absolutely no prior skills are required to participate.

Greening our Lives - Evening
A table gathering in community to create a small green art piece, using preserved mosses. We will talk about ways that we are nurtured by green spaces and enjoy seeing one another’s completed projects. You do not need prior experience to complete this project.

Attendees are asked to bring a small goodie to share. Drinks will be provided.

Trees, Nature’s Safe Havens- Daytime
What is your favorite tree - either a type of tree or a specific tree of which you have a memory? We will enjoy talking together and participating in “mindful doodling”. Each of us will doodle a tree and fill it in however our heart desires. There are no rules and no special skills involved. Doodling without rules and no hurry allows space for the mind to relax and creates an environment where, for just awhile, we can shift our focus to what is before us and get a little reset.

Prayers for the New Year
As we gather, we will welcome one another to 2027 over warm drinks. Then time will be offered to write down some of your concerns and hopes as prayers for the 2027 year. Following this time of reflection and writing, we will each have the opportunity to create pouches, in which our prayers will be placed. As we complete the project, we will light a candle representing our shared holding of the prayers our pouches and hearts contain. Attendees will take their pouches home, continuing to remember the prayers contained within.

Hot chocolate, coffee, and tea will be available.
